I just fed them a 1/4 cup of 3mm pellets NLS, so the wayer is filthy.
They get that once a day, and I change 150-170 gal. of water every week.

Testing.

Dirty? Its like a sewer in there. Not really. They just ate, then I did a 30% extra WC.
Plus the lights are T-5 Ho. I only turn them on periodicly.
The back of the tank is packed with green algae (great for the mbuna males in there).
Thats what makes the water look so green. But you are right, its pretty filthy after feeding them a
1/4 cup of NLS 3mm pellets.
