'Lamprologus' brevis (Katabe)
Here are a few pictures of my brevis. I've had them for about three years now. I thought I had bought a pair that were together in a shell at the lfs, but when I got home I had more than two. The little female was killed early on and I still have the two males. They keep to their own sides of the tank and everything has been fine. For a while I looked for some females, but at this point I don't want to cause trouble in the tank by trying to add any.

I'll see what I can do, Derek. Those last two shots are only 2 - 3 months ago.

Here you go Derek. They still look exactly the same, only I couldn't get them in focus.
The spots are on the tank glass, not the fish.

Always liked the shell dwellers. Interesting fish to look at. Had some ocellatus in smaller tank in my bedroom once. They are the living proof that u don´t need a hugh tank to get something back from this hobby. Nice brevis Betty.

My two male brevis are still alive and happy. I've had them for about five years now. Their favorite shells are starting to disintegrate, so I'll have to find more. They seem to like the escargot shells best.
I could only get pics of one, but they both look exactly the same.

Cracking shots Betty! Love the hint of purple. Do these guys have their own tank?

Thanks. Yes, they do have their own tank. Just a small 10 gallon.

All of these years and they still dive for cover every time they see me.
