Congrats Emil! I hope it works out and you get some fry out of it.

Congrats Emil!!! The fry should fully absorb the egg sack in about 2 weeks which is when I remove mine. If you can get the female to take to a whelk shell or breeding bell it makes removing the fry much easier.

I'll be looking forward to updates, and again... Congrats!!!

Unfortunately, I will be in NYC next week, so I will need to remove them this weekend. Hopefully there'll be enough egg sac left to sustain them through the week until I get back on Friday. Like I said, I was not expecting this yet, but I'm ready for the challenge. :-)

Hey everyone, been a little while. Went to NYC and came back to no Comp babies. No big surprise there. Maybe I'll have better luck next time.

I like the way that looks. I might have to try moonlights on a tank one of these days. I have a submersible light strip that puts out dim light, but I think it might be too bright to use this way.

Just thought I should give a quick update. The tank is doing good. I just ordered an FX5 off ebay...brand new for $200. With extra media too. I'm working on buying a house, so I will have to move 2 huge tanks. That should be fun. However, the house will have a basement, so I will get my fish room. :-) Staying really busy, but I will update with pics soon.
