BN eggs in a jar
Well, the last time I caught fish for stripping out of my big tank, I also caught the pair of big BNs. They are really about as big as BN's get, and I think they are going to the next HCCC auction in a couple of weeks. I have several smaller pair spawning in another tank, and the big pair never had any surviving fry in the big tank with
the cichlids. I discovered a 20 long gets real dirty real fast with big BNs in it, too, lol.
Anyway, I did not think they's spawn in there, but I moved the resin log they were hiding in, and lo... several masses of orange eggs came floating out. Well, I have
put the eggs in a glass bowl with an airstone to see if they will hatch.

Yes indeed it does! I clean mine nearly every day. What a chore.football mom wrote: I discovered a 20 long gets real dirty real fast with big BNs in it, too, lol.
I had my eggs in a net positioned over the airstone and that worked well. Good luck.
