Thank you. The Discus photo is a perfect example of proper lighting. I used two flash units for that shot. One was situated on the left hand side of the tank illuminating the right side of the fish. The other was my camera flash used a as the flash fill for the left. The camera flash was set for one half power. If you look closely at the picture you can see the lighting difference. The bare tank helped in reflecting light from the bottom.
