Stealth heater recall.
I read here on a post about exploding stealth pro heaters.
I went to pet smart and traded in my
2 old stealth heaters that were working perfectly,
for 2 brand new Aqueion or somthing like that.
Cool thing is I gave the guy 2, 200 watt heaters
and he asked if I was getting 250 watt heaters.
I said sure. Then I saved another 20 bucks
on a bag of dog food (It was $65). He credited me
$48 2 times for the heaters I paid 16 bucks apiece for.
Thank you Karma!

Re: Stealth heater recall.
Well I finally took six of mine in to Petsmart. I was sad to see them go -- they have never given me any problems until the other day the one on the tropheus tank stopped working and the water was cold. I got five of the Aqueon Pro heaters and a Fluval because they didn't have enough of the Aqueons.
When I got home I discovered the Fluval isn't completely submersible, so now I have to exchange that one.
I hope these Aqueons are a good reliable heater. I like that they are black like the Stealths.

Re: Stealth heater recall.
I'm so glad that I don't have to deal with heaters down here. I do own some of the
pre-set little heaters that I have used a few times when we got really cold (actually
down to freezing!) but I problably didn't even really need them them.
Now, if we have a power outage in the summer months...we got problems....boiled fish.
