Re: Julidochromis dickfeldi
Congratulations on the spawn! I have 2 J. dickfeldi in the 30 gal square with the multis, and 2 more in the 20 L with the baby comps and gold occies. All 4 were together for a long time, with no pairing behavior noted, so I split them up. I really like the dickfeldi, they are like little stripey submarines...
So far the only Tangs I have had to successfully spawn were the mulits and occies, and I didn't get the occie fry out before they were dinner....

Thanks Victoria
Thanks J, I have 4 adults in the tank with one pair. I tore the tank down to move it downstairs and all the fish huddled together so I couldn't tell which 2 were the pair... I put all of them back in the tank downstairs and haven't seen much pair behaviour since. Hopefully they'll pair back up and eject the other 2 from the rockpile which should make it easier to remove them. I'd like to just have the pair in there.

Typical Julidochromis behaviour to be sensitive to disturbance like that. I hope they pair up again. Great looking fish the dickfeldi
