Yeah, he´s starting to color up already. A.N. pellets and frozen shrimpmix are doing it´s thing Wink .

Had some breeding going on with the borleyi tonight, so now one of the females have her mouth full of eggs. Did not think they would succeed because the mbunas went crazy for the eggs. My borleyi might be small but they are tough and got away with it. Very Happy Sorry for the bad pic, but the tank was dark. Did´nt want to disturb them by lighting it up.

Thanks guys. It was surprising that it happened so fast. They are still so small. Another thing that was surprising was that the greshakei male tried to take over. He has never been interested to breed before. Although he had his own females to breed with. Now he´s 8 y.o. and suddenly becomes a dirty old man.

Very nice looking fish and congrats on the spawn. If he is already going this young you should have many offspring from this guy.
