these are 2 different fish, 1st on is my yellow lab, and the 2nd is my red zebra,

Any chance they could be fighting with each other? I've got a RT Hongi that looks a bit like that and he's been scrapping with another fish. Both of mine seem to have something like what you are showing but that's just a guess.

Happens a lot when they get aggressive and do the ole liplock on each other.

Keep an eye out. If they remain aggressive you may have to pull one of them out for a time out.

That would be my guess as well is a little lip locking going on.

Looks like a zebra X lab hybrid, they can definitely hold their own against the red zebras
