got Seahorse?
FINALLY, the day has come... my refugium is the perfect place for a seahorse, slowflowing water, clean levels, and plenty of pods running around for him to hunt... just got done acclimating him in... hes been gobblin up all the copeopods etc scurrying about, ALREADY!!!!... really cool!

OMG! That is the coolest!! My lfs used to keep a pair by the front register and at one point they bred. They were just awesome.

dude so funny u mention it... i spent 2 hours trying to film this guy last night... my gf thought i was crazy... he loves to go under the rockwork in the fuge... i have it set up as a open cave for him to chill in the shadows... well he likes it a bit too much... comes out for a short bit then back to the cave.
its amazing how slow moving he is, hoovering from this to that, latching on with his tail. then he just sits still with his face real close to the rock and BAM lighting fast strike to gobble up one of the lil critters...
SO COOL I LOVE IT!
i will try my darndest to get a decent vid up of him.

Cute little thing. I never thought of setting up a refugium for one. I actually caught a few while snorkeling around Destin, FL. Never could catch any fish even though I got a finger on a couple.

Just came across this thread. Very cool looking critter.
How's he/she holding up? Is it black and blue striped or do the body ridges give that effect?

more black and brown shades. they feel like sand paper, very coarse like a cats tounge.
seahorse is good, now comes out when i approach the tank, wont eat from my hand but will get quite close. he and the desjardini tang are buddies.

I hear ya man, glad to hear your busy with work... it beats the alternative
Good luck finding a boat, course then you'll have to find time to use it... that's what's been keeping me from getting a kayak, I'd never get to use it.
