P. multicolor victoriae tankmates?
I've moved my victoriae into a 29 gallon tank and they like to stay hidden in the rocks now. There's just the four of them in there and the tank looks empty. I can't find much information on compatible tankmates for them. Anyone have any ideas?

I know that someone on a Swedish forum keeps them with succes together with Yssichromis piceatus. I will try to find the thread.

According to our Swedish Victorian specialist the best tankmates to P. multicolor victoriae are these.
Yssichromis piceatus, Paralabidochromis sp. "rock kribensis" or Haplochromis sp. "tipped blue".

Wow, Håkan! Thank you. I'll have to look at those species and do a little research. My tank is only 29 gallons, so I need to be careful not to get anything that might grow too large.

I ended up having to split these four up into different tanks because three are males and not getting along at all, so tank mates are on hold. I could probably find the kribensis, but wasn't having much luck with the other two species.
