UH OH!
Ok, I'm about 99% sure one of my electrics is carrying eggs. Hiding a lot, not eating, and very puffy under around the mouth. If I had to guess, it is very recent. What do I do?
Thanks,
Bob

Re: UH OH!
Is that an "Electric Yellow Lab"?
What you do depends on what your plans are. If you plan on raising fry then make sure you have a growout tank ready. You can catch mom in a few days and either keep her there until she spits or strip her and put the fry in the tank (or tumble if need be).
If you don't plan on raising fry, then leave her alone and nature will take it's course.

Re: UH OH!
sometimes, though, you cant depend on nature...
A few weeks ago, I 'found' 3 new fish in my tank... Saturday, I 'found' 3 more... They are all happily thriving (as of now). The latest trio are only about 1/2 inch long, and none of the other fish show any interest in a free meal... Maybe their lucky number is 3...
