Im working on a new tank in a month or so...( waiting to move in a new place.... and yes one the room is going to be a tank/ game / entertainment room ) turning my old 40g to a sump filter for the 125 or 150, and I just got 2 new xp4 renas running on my existing 75s so it could be nice and gooey by the time I set up the new tank , what would a good substrate for a tang tank? and what kind of fishies would go good with my fronts and blue spots? and does anybody actually uses under gravel jets in their bigger tanks? my wifes packing boxes and im building a stand for a tank I dont even have yet! Razz maybe I'll use walnut to build the stand.....hmmm

Planning a new tank -- nice!

I can't help with stocking suggestions, but I can recommend a tan colored pool filter sand as a substrate. I have it in all but one tank. It looks natural and the fish seem to enjoy digging and sifting through it.

Comps and calvus make good tankmates for Fronts. Small, fast, fin nipping fish should be avoided Wink

Good luck with the new tank, can't wait to see it redneck
