Micheal, I might be wrong, but that looks more like a Microgeophagus ramirezi (German blue ram) to me.

You do seem right. I just went by what the LFS had them labeled as, I know that's a mistake. I didn't keep them long and traded them back in as they didn't interest me like my Africans so I never really studied up on them.

I had alot of Microgeophagus ramirezi and Paracheirodon axelrodi together with a discus group ones. Beautiful fish all of them but at the same time boring. Nice to look at but no action.
