Got some new fish yesterday

Stu and I took a drive up to San Marcos yesterday and I picked up a few fish from a guy who was selling some of his stock. I got 6 multis,
2 white calvus, and 4 juli transcriptus.
We checked out the big outlet mall there also, but I guess I'm not a designer shopper, all I bought was a cookbook!
I re-scaped my Tang community tank, made 3 rock piles out of two, so hopefully all inhabitants will have a new territory.

The tank is a 55 gallon, sand substrate, shells, rocks, some Crypt plants,
3 N. helianthus
2 A. compressiceps
2 A. black Calvus
2 A. white Calvus
4 J. transcriptus
pair of gold occies
1 Paracyp
1 BN pleco

Well, here's the video, you can check out the tank, at least! The fish seemed to want to hide.

It looks good. Cool to see those calvus up off of the bottom. Mine never leave there. I wonder if I should add some dither fish to make them feel better about venturing up.

Betty, my comps and calvus (different tanks) both get up at least mid-water or higher pretty consistently and both have dithers (guppies for the calvus, cyps for the comps). I definitely think it makes a difference.

Looks good ..are the comps the yellow muzi?

The parents of the comps were sold to me as gold-head, and the female looks like a gold head, but the male is sort of an all-over yellow-orangey color, so it's very likely they are not a pure strain. One of the juvies looks like the mother fish, the other one is hard to say what it will look like.
The parents are really cool, though, they are practically wet pets.
