WIld Cuaght Image, another guessing game
Hi Gang: well I have posted one reasonably hard shot requiring a few guesses( level 5), then a relatively easy one and it was a homerun on the first guess ( level 3),,,SO here is one of those that I think will last pretty much all week ( level 9) .
Do not be to upset if you do not find the ID of this one,,,on the net,but it is refferenced and you should be able to find it.
Everybody is in, no benched players for this one!
This IS a Lake Malawi Cichlid (3 pic for you to reference)
1.
2.
3.
Have fun
Cheers,Larry

Of course it is Larry it is a blue fish. Malawi cichlids are either blue, red or yellow.

Re: WIld Cuaght Image, another guessing game
Good guess theswede is right
I figured that this pic might have lasted much longer in the guessing game,,,you guys are good!
This fish looks pretty much the same all over the lake, there is one farther north that is more blue, this one shows more green than a lot of others cichlids from the lake.
Actually this fish was photographed at Chimwalani Reef.
Maybe theswede can tell us how he found this fish so quickly!
Personaly I have never seen or heard of this fish being around North America at all,,,is it availiable in Europe?
Thanks again!
Cheers,Larry

No, I don´t think this cichlid has ever been availiable in Europe. There are no pics of it at any forums anyway, but as vman says it´s in the book. It´s also in the book " Dreamcichlids" by Ad.

Yes thanks for replying,,,I know its in the book but you have to find/figure out the genus before you can find it,,,or flip to every picture. There are no pics of it at any forums anyway, but as vman says it´s in the book. It´s also in the book " Dreamcichlids" by Ad.
Most Malawi hooyists seem to look the whole book over but never seem to find it,,,so you have a good eye!
Will post another one soon
Cheers,Larry
