New red fin male since my old one went and died on me for some reason a couple of month ago. Got this one from a friend as a juvie about 6 month ago.

My group of cyaneorhabdos are growing pretty fast in my 106 gallon. Had a near disaster with a female that one of my crabros thought looked tasty. Only the tail fin stuck out of his mouth, but I saw that she where still alive. Where not able to catch him so I throw in some NLS and he fortunately spit her out again. She looked pretty chocked for a while but are now alright .
Two of three males that I have in that tank.

GREAT shots. I'm glad the crabro spit his snack out and she was okay.

Re: Some malawi shots.
Went on a roadtrip south to collect some malawi and tanganyika cichlids with a friend last saturday. We had a great time among maybe 70-80 rift tanks in the shop. Never seen so many different tropheus groups in my life. The owner was a great guy and after he closed the shop for the day he took us to see his breeding room a few miles down the road. I bought 10 adult cyaneorhabdos from his breeding group that I will post some shots of when they have settled in.

Sounds like a great trip! So when are you going to set up a tropheus tank??

I´m going to look at a 3 y.o. 106 gallon tank this weekend, but not sure if it will become a victorian or tanganyikan setup. Very hard choice to make.

Cool fish. I like the "expression" on the face of the last fish.
