Here are some of my latest additions that were added to a fry tank. The fry were getting pretty large, so I thinned out the herd by trading some 20 of the fry, a menace Crabro, and an unruly killing machine (unknown) for 5 Peacocks, the silver/orange guy, and the colorful guy (I haven't had time to reference them yet, but I will once time permits - Working 12 hour days limits my free time)...

I'm unsure as to what they are specifically, but I'm sure some of you will be able to assist Very Happy

I would also like to ask: Who says Peacocks are 'peaceful'??? As you can see from the following pics, they race the Mbuna to the food! It helps that they are much larger than the fry in the tank with them, but come on! I almost have to 'sneak' food th the Mbuna, and when I do, the Peacocks beat them up and take it... I guess the Mbuna will get their revenge once they get a bit more size to them Mad

Itty Bitty Kenyi I found when cleaning the tank - sole survivor!

This guy is a brute, but no match for the Peacocks...

No, he's not bloated, he's just the pig that tries to eat all of the food before the others have a chance...

It's surprising that the mbuna let the peacocks get away with all the food, but it's obvious from the pictures that they do. Little pigs. pig
I've had a couple over the years that ate more than their share and it's not easy to put just one fish on a diet!

The little kenyi looks like he might have something else in the mix. I've never kept them and I could be wrong, but I thought they had fewer bars?

I like that ob zebra.

Thanks!

You know, not that you mention it... I looked at the only adult Kenyi that I have left (6 bars), and this little one has 8... I don't know what else it could be since the only fish in that tank were Kenyi, Auratus, and Crabro... Mutation? scratch
