Sweet ! Never had this species. I read somewhere that they are seasonal breeders in the lake. How often do u get them to breed? I mean have u noticed anything different with this species compared to other species of mbuna?

Re: Pseudotropheus acei
Thanks everyone.
Håkan, I have noticed a difference from my other mbuna -- these acei have never spawned, not even once! I haven't vented them, so I don't know their sexes, but with five of them, I would expect to have at least one of the opposite sex.How often do u get them to breed? I mean have u noticed anything different with this species compared to other species of mbuna?

The third pic from the left is most probably a male. The others could be femals.
