decorus Empty decorus

i had never heard or seen this fish until i bought one it was just a small light blue fish not much to look at but after 3 months this fish is becoming a very colorful fish, otopharynx decorus.

got him from a breeder in denver and i also got the pindu from the same place, i am planning to get a few more and maybe a female or two and if they breed you people are on the top of the list for the fry.

like everyone else ive never heard of one and the new classifcations have changed a few, like i have a aul,koningsi/regal, 2 yrs ago when purchased was aul. mbenjii,unfortnately they do come up with new names and classifcation which confuse me and a few others im sure

I to was thinking I would see a syno catfish. Nice looking fish I will be waiting to see his full colors.

Very nice looking fish! I don´t think that species ever found the way up to the north Europe. Never seen a pic of it on any forums here.
