really wish I had a wall big enough in my house for a bigger tank so I could house these guys. When I build on again, I will be doing another living room area with SEVERAL walls big enough for 6 or 8 foot tanks. For now, the big 4 footers are what I gotta work with.

Camera wouldn't focus on these guys 90% of the time with the "kit" lens on, the gutter blocks my big light when I have it in there.

They just ate some cantaloupe Shocked
I was just goofin around and dropped a little chunk of cantaloupe in the tank thinking the catfish might eat it, the biggest jag grabbed it and came back for more. I broke off a small piece and the other jag ate it.
Who'da thunk it scratch

when you feed them, do you just drop the frozen cube of blood worms in an dlet them figure it out?

I usually put 2 cubes in there and they'll each grab one, then the cats swim around grabbing the leftovers. If I only put one, they try and steal it away from each other.

yeah, that was my problem also.... then I tried 2... ended up with bloodworms all over the bottom of the tank and the clean up crew wouldn't touch em. I started using a little cut with tank water to let the cube break up and pouring in the contents. Not nearly as fun though.

couple of quick no flashers, just walked by the tank and they came out expecting food but started flaring at each other. The smaller (darker) one has dug a hole under the wood, the bigger one got some nice yellow colors, looks green in the last pic Embarassed Thinking I might have 2 males, the patterns change so much I can't go on that, pretty sure the biggest is a male by the pointy vent, but I just don't know with these guys.

Who wins the fight? Is it the guy who's biting the top lip or the bottom lip, I forgot scratch Anyways, while filling up after a water change they finally went at it finally, after10 minutes of flaring and tail slapping and they locked up, the normal way for a little while, but then the bigger one had the other by both lips Shocked It's whole mouth was inside the other's, he/she finally gave up, the smaller one always seems to be the instigator.

%^&&$E^&$!! = removed my rant about the new flash being a piece of crap for remote use.
Why in the heck would someone even make a flash with a manual mode AND a power saving 3 minute shut-off herny Useless POS, surely there's a way to rewire it that doesn't involve a baseball bat.

Shocked the big one's female, pretty sure the other is male, looks like they might be spawning, don't see any eggs yet. Didn't think they'd spawn this little.
