Excellent pictures Roger. It's great to see how nicely you have progressed with your new DSLR.

One little clue if you don't mind. Start playing a bit with different white balance settings. You will see the difference in the result right away and it will get rid of the yellow tint. I usually have mine set to "Tungsten".

It is a driving force to learn as much as I can. To win a photo contest you fellows are in is a real win. That would mean a lot to me.

great shots, tank looks great, agree with the white balance
I just used a curves adjustment and set the white point off one of the gravel pieces I thought might be white, doesn't look too much different but the blues and greens stand out a bit more.
