Canister intake and sand

Post by Aura on Wed Feb 03, 2010 11:16 pm

A bad picture, but it kind of shows what my fish did the other day. Piled up lots and lots of sand in the back corner and my XP filter intake was partially buried. I took a segment out of it so it's way up high now. rant

It didn't hurt the filter though, just had to dump a fair amount out of the canister. The AC filter on the other side of the tank will not tolerate sand at all.
