these are some pics of my male before he started to color up, over the passed 10 days he has really put on a lot of color i will get some pics in a few weeks to show the difference, this fish has grown over 5 inches in the 6 months i have had him at this rate he should be the biggest fish in the tank by the end of the year, i also have a small female that is growing pretty fast too, so far these fish have been very mellow and seem to just want to eat.

He's a very healthy looking fish. I'm can't to see it color up.

5 inches of growth in 6 months!!! Shocked

What's the max size for him?

they say 18 inches is max for this fish.
