drip plate hole size and number formula??? Empty drip plate hole size and number formula???

does such a thing exist?
I need a 11"X18" drip plate that will let around 1600 gph through
a single 1-3/4" hole would handle 1800gph
that's about 2.4 sq inches
one 1/8" hole is .012sq" so I'd need 200
or
one .25" hole is .049sq" and I'd need 49

with holes that small wouldn't surface tension around the holes slow it down?
heard of plastic pegboard, if i can find that stuff I'll probably just grab some
Just thought it'd be nice if there was an online calculator somewhere for us people that like to sit around for hours just drilling holes in crap Suspect
Anyone know of one?

holes are just too big, have spraybars, but there's still a few areas of the the bioballs that are staying dry, have some needlepoint sheets in there now, but they just don't quite do it either. Either going to drill some acrylic or get the plastic pegboard if I can find it.

When I made the drip plate for my bio-chamber I figured I needed it to run 1500 gph. So what I did was cut a hole in the bottom of an old 5 gallon bucket and siliconed in a piece of 1/4" plexiglass with ten 1/8" countersunk hole drilled in it. I covered the holes with a piece of rubber from a tire patch kit and filled it with water. Standing the bucket on a couple of bricks I removed the rubber and timed how long it took to drain. Do this a few times to get an average and do the rest of the math from there.

If you drill to many holes you can use my idea of a few ping-pong balls floating around in the top of the chamber. The countersunk holes will hold them in place and as the water rises they will move around to another hole and help prevent the channeling the drilled hole method sometimes encounters.
