Cool shots!
The brush strokes are showing in my browser on the last pic, I saved the pic to my comp and they nearly invisible in PS. Not sure what happened, maybe a brush setting or opacity?

Re: Some malawi shots.
bulldogg, are you running a 64 bit machine? It can show more detail...sort of...I've encountered that before with some graphics that look fine until you look at them on a 64 bit machine. Also, it could just be the way theswede is saving the shots for the web.
Re: Some malawi shots.
Think it's firefox, but it didn't show on my second screen with firefox. Think it's my monitor, time to calibrate it again, I don't notice it till i have the same screen on both, this one isn't showing the blacks like it should. My blacks are actually kind of gray.

Hmm, I use Firefox, but I've never messed with the color management and it shows fine for me, so maybe that's it. Silly computers and their durned flexibility.

Looks like the pics are getting better and better. Are you doing something differently or is it the new lighting? Any more Labeotropheus shots?

Awesome shots? Just noticed most shots were at 200mm, did you get the 70-200?

Re: Some malawi shots.
Jeff, the one I got with the camera is a Tamron 18-200mm. The one I want and will buy is a Canon 60mm macro.

Canon's doing rebates right now, you might be able to get one at a good price.

The cheapest Canon 60mm macro I found over here costs 527 US dollars.

The shots are getting better and better, of course they were pretty good to start with.
