10 gallon tank Empty 10 gallon tank

I got a WC pair of telmatochromis temporalis and i put them in a 10 gallon tank by themselves is this a good idea or should i get a bigger tank. I want them to breed in a 10 gallon.

This is a fish that I'm not very familiar with. There really aren't many fish that I would try keeping/breeding long term in a 10 gallon tank, a larger tank is almost always a better option than a 10g.

I dont really now this fish. Some tangs can be done it in a ten it just depends on the fish really.
