A couple of new shots on my Ps. sp elongatus "namalenje" male. He is far from his glory days when it comes to color, but he´s the alpha male in the 66 gallon tank. He use to be much darker on the body and head. This guy is also getting very old. Around 7 y.o. I guess I will lose alot of fish to old age in the near future.

Those borleyi are looking really good, but the crabro is my favorite. Mine used to stay dark like that, but didn't have that blue tint -- it looks nice like that. Does it have anything to do with the lighting, or is it just his natural color?

All the males have that blue in them and most when they color up. I have a junger male that really is coming along great and shows alot of blue also. Femals only have blue in there pelvic fins.
