180 gallon tank.
Visited a friend today and took some shots of his 180 gallon malawi tank. Unfortunately the daylight was very strong and there are some mirror effects in the glass. But here goes anyway.

His redfin males are huge compared to mine.

He has some very nice set-ups. What is that intense red fish to the right of the first pic in his 66g? It looks like an Mbuna but I've never seen one with such a red color over most of its body.

It´s a line breed hongi. There are a couple of shots of him here.

Argh. I am so split on the whole line bred, hybrid thing. I realize line bred are true species bred to enhance certain traits but the purist in me still rages against it......... Still, all in all, I would love to have that Hongi.

Wow, the last two shots are the bomb. The most realistic aquascapes I have seen.

Yes, those stone modules on the bottom made a huge difference in this tank.

Re: 180 gallon tank.
Today he finished his 303 gallon tank. It looks pretty promising. The fish from the 180 gallon will go into this one together with a group of Dimidiochromis compressiceps.

Wow, looks awesome! I like the look of the "rocks" along the side.
