I used sea salt when I treated my tropheus, but I think the aquarium salt box says you can use it to treat diseases.
What I do is dissolve the salt in a bucket of water and slowly add it a little at a time throughout the day. I don't think it's necessary to do it that way, but I like the slow acclimation process if I'm adding a lot of salt.
You never said what size your tank is! Don't go by my terrible math and my bad memory!! I wouldn't want to be responsible for pickling your fish.
The salt is a place to start. There's no way to guarantee it will work, but there is little to go by to make a diagnosis and recommend medication, etc.

its a 45 lol sorry and jeff did it to and yea i picked up aquriam salt and it does say it does that and it has helped in the past help my fish in the past

Do you have any Melafix? Or another medication that treats fin rot?

That is strange that you get fin rot after a wc and adding salt. Are the females still alright?

yea i know and yea feamles fine they are fighting and every thing they are seeing who spawns first i also doses with the some melafix but it was last of the bottle this isnt looking good his face is suknen he is so skinny

so he still no eating and now im working full days leaving the hosue at 6 getting home and settled now so this is hard he isnt gasping for air and is out in the open more now but still no eating

No one has these fish I tried saleing them before no one wanted them the only person I know with these fish is the importer I bought them from
